Our Detailed Process
Incubation and hatching
Where female and male chicks are raised separately until the age of 20–21 weeks, during which the birds are physiologically and sexually prepared for the production stage.
During this period, feed is restricted to avoid undesired weight gain within a controlled growth pattern.
The length and intensity of lighting are also regulated to control the growth process and to prevent the hormonal effects of strong lighting on the birds until the period of sexual maturity and the lighting stimulation stage.
Mixing Phase
Where the mature males and females are mixed together in a specific mating ratio to allow production of fertile hatching eggs and beginning of (Production Phase).
Production Phase
The birds begin producing fertilized eggs from 25 weeks of age until the end of the flock. During this period, it is necessary to control the birds’ body weights, egg weight, feed quantities, physiological condition, and proper physical characteristics of both females and males, as well as to maintain the sex ratios at different age stages according to the breed catalog recommendations to ensure optimal fertilization.
Egg Collection
Fertile eggs are collected as soon as possible after laying for reasons of hygiene (if the eggs are left in the nests for longer time they are more likely to have manure spread on them or be damaged). Regular collection also protects the eggs from the heat of the day.
Egg Storage and Transportation to Hatchery
The hatching eggs are stored in temp.and RH controlled egg rooms in the farms then transferred by well equipped, temp. controlled egg trucks to the hatchery.
